You are all welcome to participate in a special AdapTM project session “Role of Education for Mitigation and Adaptation to Climate Change” which will be part of the 16th annual International Scientific Conference “Social Innovations for Sustainable Regional Development” at Klaipeda University, 29th of April, 2020 Lithuania.
Climate change is challenging all aspects of sustainable development, including human health, food security, economic growth, natural resources and biodiversity. By raising awareness and promoting knowledge and skills-development, education is an essential element for responding to global climate change issues. Therefore, besides the technological ones, we also need social innovations and education at all levels for climate change adaptation and mitigation measures to really work.
This session invites all contributions focusing on interrelations between climate change, education and sustainable regional development.
